WEBINAR
Novel identification in diverse sample types via direct amplification

Available on-demand

Discover how you can streamline your workflow and get to answers faster using extraction-free PCR. In this session, our trusted expert Erik Wendlandt walks you through data demonstrating how Integrated DNA Technologies’ one-step master mix enables you to move directly from sample collection to PCR—eliminating time-consuming extraction steps without sacrificing accuracy. You’ll see performance across challenging sample types, including urine, saliva, nasopharyngeal swabs, stool, leaf punches, and cell cultures, so you can quickly evaluate whether direct amplification can simplify your processes, reduce variability, and accelerate your research outcomes.

Webinar learning objectives

  • Address developing trends in infectious disease research
  • Discuss current technologies
  • Understand the benefits of extraction-free PCR
  • View data from diverse samples

Integrated DNA Technologies

Dr. Erik Wendlandt is a senior commercial and technical specialist at IDT. He obtained his PhD in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Iowa, where he studied dysregulation of gene expression in human macrophages upon parasitic infection. As a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Iowa, he investigated how changes in chromosomal structure resulted in drug resistance and disease progression in multiple myeloma. At IDT, Dr. Wendlandt specializes in applications involving gene expression and genotyping, and he assists in the development and troubleshooting of molecular assays.
